Compatibility is a product-selection question, not a universal promise. Ask for a clear, model-specific scope and check a sample in your intended application.
Build the test brief
Include the vehicle and head-unit information, wired CarPlay or Android Auto availability, phone model, operating system and the adapter firmware revision.
Record the limits
Confirm any unsupported head units, power requirements, connection conditions and known issues. Avoid claims such as “all cars” unless a precise and supportable scope is available.
Support the customer
Keep setup instructions and troubleshooting steps aligned with the supplied model. Changes to hardware or software should trigger a review of the published compatibility information.
