Start with the application
Record the vehicle make, model, year and head-unit details. Confirm the existing wired smartphone projection capability and the available USB interface. Ask which exact combinations have been tested.
Compare like for like
Request the current specification revision, included cables, packaging information and supported phone platforms for the exact SKU. Do not treat “2-in-1” or “3-in-1” labels as a complete functional specification.
Approve the sample
Evaluate pairing, reconnection and normal use in the intended setup. Record exceptions and agree the inspection, documentation and support arrangements before committing to supply.
